you registered for KES2007 or AMSTA-07, attended the conference, and presented a paper that was published in the proceedings
OR
you registered for KES2007 or AMSTA-07, attended the conference, and did not have a paper published in the proceedings
THEN
you qualify for the KES Member rate.
If you did not attend the conference, or did not present your paper, you do not qualify for the KES Member rate.
To get the KES member rate you will need to tell us the registration number you were given when you registered for KES2007 or AMSTA-07.
No Shows
We realise that unforeseen problems can occur which makes it impossible for authors to attend the conference. However, it has become clear that a minority of authors submit a paper and register with no intention of attending the conference, just to get the a publication in the proceedings. This practice makes the conference experience worse for all and we will do all we can to stop it.
We reserve the right to take any steps we regard necessary to reduce the occurence of no-shows. This may include refusing to accept papers from no-show authors for future KES conferences.
We will not usually supply proceedings or other conference materials to no-show authors.
We feel sure that you will support this position and help us in our aim to make the conference as good as possible for all our delegates. Many Thanks!
